The Columbus County DREAM Cetner is changing Columbus County by quietly but effectively serving thousands of people in our community in the areas of health, nutrition, education, housing, technology, youth and community development.

Some of their initiatives include: 

• Columbus County IMPACT (outreach, nontraditional HIV/STD counseling, testing, referrals, as well as substance abuse prevention & counseling)

•  WELL BIRTHS (awareness and prevention of infant mortality)

• Safe Haven After School Tutoring (grades 1st - 8th -- Bolton Senior/Youth Center, DREAM Center, Building Bridges Fair Bluff)

• Powerful Parenting! (The Strengthening Families Program is a nationally recognized parenting and family strengthening program for high-risk and general population families.)

• Community Technology Center (computer lab with Internet for adults & youth in Spanish & English)

• Summer Food Service Program (nutritional snacks & lunches ages 0-18)
