AMBASSADORS PROGRAM

In partnership with Men & Women United for Youth & Families, young people are involved Youth Ambassadors for a Better Community (YABC) which was founded in 2015 and is a mission based youth leadership group. 

We started out on a mission to increase the quantity, quality, and sustainability of community gardens across the tri-county area, while instilling leadership, entrepreneurship, and social skills with youth. This program has grown tremendously, as a result we began serving our regional community in 2018 through expanded policy involvement and a new partnership with North Carolina State Universities Vacation Vittles Program.
